Arctic Rivers Guide Service BOOKINGS & FEES

Each hunt is limited to 1 or 2 hunters/guide. Generally 2 or 3 of us are in attendance for each booking of 2 or more hunters.

Quoted fees cover all expenses on our part to conduct the hunt, fishing trip, etc. from pickup in Kotzebue or Kodiak to return with trophies. (A bush charter fee may apply, ask us for specifics.) Alaska Airlines provides daily service to & from Kotzebue & Kodiak - each guest is responsible for these arrangements - book early. It is important that you arrive on schedule as we charter aircraft to take new hunters to camp & pick up departing guests - same flight. A delay in arrival will be charged to those arriving late. I recommend air freighting rifle & critical gear to me via insured air freight - 2 weeks in advance of your arrival. Address your shipment to yourself, in care of me. Plan to arrive in Kotzebue or Kodiak the day before your hunt begins & overnight in a hotel before & after your hunt booking.

BOOKING DATES follow, however, this schedule is subject to modification as we have 5 species with overlapping seasons & we can book to accommodate hunters' schedules, given enough notice. PERMITS FOR DALL RAM, MOOSE & BROWN/GRIZZLY BEARS MUST BE COMPLETED BY DEC. 31, 2009 FOR FALL 2010 HUNTS **Dall Sheep permit applications must be completed by Dec. 6 prior to fall hunt.**   NON-RESIDENT LICENSES: Hunting - $85, ALIEN Hunting - $300, 7-Day Fishing - $55, 3 day fishing - $35. Grizzly/Brown Bear permits may be available on a first come basis - it's best, of course, to book early, but a FAX or call may result in a late permit. (License and tag fees are set by the State of Alaska.

2010 HUNTING FEES - RIFLE
Aug. 10-20 & Aug. 20-30,	Daily rate - $650/day PLUS TROPHY FEES, includes stream fishing, ptarmigan & snowshoe hare hunting Trophy fee for Caribou - $1,250 each; Wolf; Dall Ram - $7500; Wolf - first wolf free, additional wolves - $500 each.
Aug. 30 - Sept. 9 Sept. 9 - Sept. 21,	DAILY RATE - $750/day PLUS TROPHY FEES, includes stream fishing, ptarmigan hunting Trophy fee: Caribou - $1,250 each; Wolf -first wolf free, additional wolves - $500 each; Moose - $8,000; Grizzly - $7,500; Dall Ram - $7,500; Wolverine - $3,500
Sept. 21 - 31 & later dates	DAILY RATE - $750/day PLUS TROPHY FEES, includes stream fishing, ptarmigan hunting Trophy fee: Caribou - $1,250 each; Wolf - first Wolf free additional wolves - $500 each; Black Bear - $2,500 each; Moose - $8,000; Grizzly - $7,500; Dall Ram - $7,500; Wolverine - $3,500
NON-GUIDED DEER HUNTS	$4,000/PERSON/7DAYS, incudes 2 deer, additional deer-$500 each.

We have a license & tag vendorship for your convenience, in case you wish to pursue an extra animal. Unless you specify otherwise, we will have all your licenses, tags & permits ready before you arrive.

If meat of the trophies is to be shipped with the hunter, these transport costs apply: MOOSE - $500; CARIBOU or SHEEP - $100. However 40 lbs. of meat can be transported at no cost as you depart. Field fleshing & salting - Dall Ram, Caribou shoulder mount cape - $100 each, Moose - $150 each, Wolf - $150, Brown/Grizzly Bear - $200. Ask for fee quotes for full body mount skin preps for moose, caribou & sheep. One-half of all usable meat will be retained by Arctic Rivers Guide Service.

Jake is Master Measurer #74 for Safari Club International & can score your trophies prior to your departure. We strongly urge all hunters to enter their trophies in the book & the Alaska annual APHA/SCI competition.

SPECIALTY FISHING CAMP - call us for dates and quotation. Most Aug/Sept. hunters get in some fishing too, no extra charge, so bring your gear. We offer fishing at Kodiak for King Salmon, Halibut, Cod, Black Seabass, Lingcod, etc. June thru Nov. Ask us for open dates. Winter fishing also.

HUNTERS BOOKING FOR FUTURE YEARS will be guaranteed the same fees quoted above or full refund of deposit. To book for future years - 10% minimum to hold booking dates & 40% due by Jan. 10 of year of hunt, 50% balance due 90 days in advance of 1st booked day via direct bank deposit. Trophy fees due in cash or US Traveler's checks at camp.
